Before proceeding, please read the following important information regarding the Hollis Brownstein Research Grants Program offered by the Leukemia Research Foundation.
The Leukemia Research Foundation is currently funding New Investigators only. New Investigator research grants are for a period of one year for up to $100,000. Award funds are transferred quarterly to the institutional office of grant administration or sponsored programs. The next funding cycle begins on July 1, 2010.
In keeping with the recommendations made by the Medical Advisory Board in June 2005, the LRF has suspended support of Postdoctoral Fellowships. Postdoctoral Fellowships may or may not be offered again in the future.
Information is now available for the 2010-2011 funding cycle.
Click Application Information for more information. Specific guidelines change yearly, so please read through the application and guidelines carefully to determine eligibility.
The Leukemia Research Foundation dedicates funds to support research related to leukemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes. The goal of the Hollis Brownstein Research Grants Program is to support new investigators; preference will be given to applicants demonstrating new lines of investigation. All submissions are reviewed by our Medical Advisory Board, chaired by Dr. John Crispino, Associate Professor, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
